Minecraft Thoughts and Review

NOTE: I recommend having a little knowledge of Minecraft if you want to get the references. If you are okay without it than I think you’ll like this post.

I have played Minecraft for quite a few years now and I must say that I still enjoy it a lot! This square game is a lot of fun to play by myself or with other people. I Often play with SuperGirlieHeart, but sometimes it is better to play alone. There is creative mode, survival mode, spectator mode, and hardcore mode. All of which have their own challenges.

I never like to play hardcore as when you die that’s it. Trying to suvive though is a big thing in the Minecraft community. Streamers often see how long it take for them to die. I mean Philza Minecraft did good until a baby zombie got to him. I can’t remember how long he made it exactly, but I think it was 2 – 3 years IRL. Not Minecraft years that would be significantly shorter and not as noteworthy. Honestly, I would die within 2 hours max. There are other YouTubers as well such as Grain who did a hardcore series with multiple friends. I am a fan of his.

Creative is fun for building and redstone although I am not the best at readstone. I am a builder… there is no chance I will be doing redstone in survival. I love the end products of redstone contraptions, but it takes me way to long. For goodness sakes I once spent four hours on a chest organizer just for it not to work. That was in survival though, this paragraph is supposed to be about creative. I love building hint, hint… So, I love creative. I like to build things like battel arenas and underground things. I like having access to all the different blocks that come along with creative. Just thing how long it would take to build an entire building about of bedrock. It’s a joke, you would have to be a very smart in order to get bedrock in any version other than creative and I’m not quite there yet. I am working on using commands to build though! I built a chain of command blocks that built a ginormous circle in the sky.

Survival is fun to though. I may love creative, but it is very easy to get bord or hit a creative block (wink, wink). I like to collect things when I’m in survival. Can you guess what type how build I normally make? Hehe, think about it. . . I . . . Build . . . A . . . FOXBASS! It could also be considered a hole in the ground with a small or hidden entrance for me to hide everything I find. Most popular place for me to loot is villages, but ship recs are not far behind. I like desert temples as well, but I don’t see them often. Oh and if I come by a woodland mansion that is instantly my new base. I will then cancel all plans I have and get to clearing it out and renovating it.

The last mode spectator…. There is not much I can say about this mode as I don’t use it often. It makes it where you can float though anything and everything. You can also right click on other people and see what they are seeing. I don’t know what else to say about it soooo moving on.

There are also the difficulties I would like to talk about. There is Peaceful, Easy, Normal, and Hard. I will normally play on normal or hard mode while in survival. It is not to bad as long as you “don’t mine at night” ~Bebop Vox. No, but you can go out just make sure you got that PVP down good. Be on a Dream level, or actually try to achieve a Grian level. I mean he did kill dream in MCC. Anyways I might have forgot what I was talking about… How about we go to peaceful mode. I like this when I am playing in creative as it keeps mobs from spawning in my big builds. I mean who wants torches all over their builds! Umm, so yeah peaceful is good for building in creative. It can be fun in survival too! I have competitions with people sometime to see who can die first. It is normally whoever finds love first is the winner, but sometimes not. Easy mode I don’t use often, but it is probably very nice for if you still want mods, but do not want a ton of them.

There is a lot to this game, and I can NOT go over it all. Like I don’t do pubic severs very often so it would not be fair for me to talk about them. I also do not host a server, and making those is a lot of work. I kind admire things like HighPixel and others of similar level. Final words are, go play Minecraft and remember that this game is for both children and adults.
